Before I get into this post I have to admit that I don't have many pictures to share. As it was a once in a lifetime kind of meal, I wanted to fully immerse myself in the experience rather than worry about getting the right shot of each of the 14 (yes, 14!!!) courses. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment.
I'm going to start this post of with a bold statement: the GR20 is the best hike I've done. I've loved the Spaghetti Tour in the Italian Alps, Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn, Hardrians Wall, the Coast to Coast, the West Highland Way, but the GR20 is the one that really takes my breath away whenever I think about it. It's absolutely not an easy walk, in fact it's the most difficult one I've done, but this post will tell you what to expect on the GR20 with the hope that you give it a go yourself.

Yorkshire is perfect for a day out, whether you're entertaining the kids, spending time with a partner or having a solo adventure! There is so much beautiful countryside and a million things to do. This weekend Billy and I visited White Scar Cave in Ingleborough, North Yorkshire. My Christmas present to Billy this year was 'a year of fun', which has consisted of me planning a day out/activity/event to do together once a month for the next year. This was January's treat and an attraction that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Whether I'm at home or travelling, I do my best to support the local economy by shopping with local businesses and eating at independent restaurants. After spending a few festive days with my family in Buckinghamshire, I took the opportunity to spend the day being a tourist in London on my way back up to Leeds. With so much to see and do in this wonderful (and somewhat overwhelming) city, the hardest part was actually planning the day and, of course, where to have lunch!
We all know of Budapest as a fun city, full of must-see attractions such as the Fisherman's Bastion and the thermal baths, and with an exciting night life. But what really surprised me in Budapest was the food - from hearty comfort food in the markets to high end restaurant menus, it was all great quality grub. I loved everything I ate during my weekend in Budapest, but there was one particular meal that was unforgettable, at what must be one of the best restaurants in Budapest: KönyvBár.
As mine and Billy's birthdays are very close to each other we usually go away somewhere to celebrate both, although I make it very clear that on my actual birthday that day is mine - the rest of the holiday is for both of us. I love sushi, I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and not get sick of it (I think). It's also my go-to hangover food, which a lot of people find odd, but the freshness of the fish, the stodgy rice and the salty soy sauce offer the perfect combination for recovering from having one too many. Hong Kong had never really been on my bucket list, rather I spontaneously agreed to a trip there whilst under the influence of one too many gin and tonics. This meant that I didn't know much about Hong Kong and what my my itinerary would be when I got there. I'd be travelling with my close friend Aliss so, once flights were booked, we spent many a Sunday afternoon in the pub discussing what we wanted to see and do during our trip and getting increasingly excited. Our only problem? How on earth would we fit everything in to just six days?!
