We are absolutely spoilt for restaurants in Leeds. Whichever cuisine you fancy and whatever your budget, the issue is never finding a suitable place to dine but rather deciding between the endless options. On top of that, there seems to be somewhere new opening every week, so even when you think you've tried it all you're suddenly no longer an expert. To help with matters, I've come up with a list of my favourite Leeds restaurants. If you're visiting for the weekend or you're hungry and can't decide where to eat, read on!

Cluj-Napoca (or Cluj) is situated in the Transylvanian region of Romania, and it has everything you could want from a European city break. I visited in September and weather was gorgeous, so my long weekend consisted of wandering around in the sunshine, eating gelato and drinking plenty of cold wine on sunny cobbled streets.

I'm not going to claim to be an expert on what to eat in Hong Kong and where to eat it as I was only there for six days, but I do want to demonstrate the huge range of cuisine and inspire any foodies to visit Hong Kong and discover the wonderful fusion of eastern and western deliciousness. So, here's a post all about the best food that I ate in Hong Kong.

Any of you who have family, especially parents, that don't live in the same part of the country, or even world, as you will have experienced the stress of trying to find something to do when they come to visit. Often you might have a parent who wants to visit some museums and understand the history of where you live, whilst the other parent wants to explore the countryside. And then throw in a sister/boyfriend/cousin/grandmother who would rather just go to the pub and it can be rather tricky! 

nce a year my dad and I make time for a hiking holiday together. Sometimes this is in the UK (Hadrian's Wall, The West Highland Way and Coast to Coast have been our favourites) and sometimes we venture further afield. Recently, we completed a 'best of' version of the Mont Blanc to Matterhorn trek where we enjoyed some quality daddy-daughter time. 

When friends ask me for recommendations for a weekend away in Europe, it's always hard to pick one place, especially as everyone has different tastes and therefore what might suit one friend wouldn't suit another. But there does tend to be one common theme in my recommendations and that is they are all in Eastern Europe.
